About our woolies

Our squidgey woolies are all hand made by myself and the patterns are tested on my son! I start with lovely undyed, natural coloured yarn, usually but not always merino. I then dye it myself using foodstuffs, so you can be confident that there will be no nasty chemicals next to your babies skin. It's then lovingly made up, using my own pattern for knitted skirties, longies and shorties, and an adaptation of the fabulous Snapdragon Soaker pattern for the soakers. Our crochet items are all made using the Wigglebunz patterns

The kettle dying process I use to dye the wool means that no two skeins of yarn are ever quite the same, even the solid colours have flecks and patches of different shades. Although you shouldn't see any colour run from our garments we can't guarantee colour fastness, especially if garments are washed in a different way than our care page suggests.
